Dr. Francine Zorehkey is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is an Advanced Bereavement Facilitator. She is in private practice in Mission Viejo, California. Dr. Zorehkey received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at San Diego State University, is a graduate of Antioch University, Los Angeles with a Master's Degree in Psychology, and has received her Ph.D. in Psychology graduating Magna Cum Laude at Southern California University of Professional Studies.

Dr. Zorehkey is also Executive Director and Founder of From Chrysalis to Wings, a non-profit organization working mostly with but not limited to breast cancer patients through project AWOL (A Way Of Life...after breast cancer) where yearly retreats are held to help breast cancer survivors tap into their grief and loss as a result of cancer diagnosis, the treatment, the loss of a breast and the altered body image. Retreats offer support, a lot of love and the opportunity to be pampered in many ways such as, massage, facials, glamour photography with make-over, yoga, tai-chi, art and writing workshops and many wonderful little surprises that are secret only to the staff. A most memorable weekend to say the least, not only of AWOL guests but for volunteers as well.
